It is mixed media and finished in oils. 
I painted this piece recently after some big changes in my world. Suddenly I felt so free to express myself in a new and different way.  The overwhelming feeling is thanks giving.  Its true that life is hard and sucky sometimes, but! what I have found is that if we dare to linger at the gates of thanksgiving even for a moment, new perspective and clear thoughts emerge.  
it is on stretched cotton canvas . This piece would look extra good framed in a box frame.
