What does it mean to ascend ..? How is it done? I am learning everyday the process of coming up, ascending the mountain of God. Firstly you need to choose to. Then wrestle with leaving where you currently are now. To leave your comfort, the predictable and the doable. The safety net… sometimes on the climb we encounter not seeing where we are going or what’s up ahead. This is a journey for the genuine lover. Surrender, desire and trust. It requires the tenderisation of the heart, renewing of the mind and willingness of spirit. Come let us ascend the mountain of the Lord. Higher , further, beyond what we can see if we remain on the ground.
